Kirstyn is a nature enthusiast and a passionate and creative environmental educator, who hopes to inspire change towards a more sustainable future. She has over 20 years of experience in formal and informal educational settings promoting environmental education, conservation, sustainability, and community global networking. Kirstyn holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has also been a dedicated volunteer for local and international conservation and community initiatives, while studying, volunteering, and even living and working abroad, as she traveled to many amazing places around the world.
Kirstyn is a natural born leader who is best known for her ability to genuinely connect with everyone she meets, inspiring them to find the good in themselves and others. She humbly approaches life, believing we all have more to learn from each other and our beautiful planet earth, and reminds us to never take anything for granted.
As a life-long educator and mentor, Kirstyn radiates compassion, curiosity and enthusiasm, awakening the inner child in all of us, helping to rekindle the spark that has a habit of being smothered during our everyday lives.
